Setsuna pointed out that the chest I found earlier is actually where you go to redeem the prizes you get from the Fable II: A Hero’s Tale website. I checked it out this morning and was able to redeem all the prizes by playing the mini-story again and choosing different paths. However, the prizes don’t seem to appear in the game instantly. I had to reboot the 360 before they would appear. It may be that you only have to restart the game. You also have to be logged into XBox.com for it to send you the items. Otherwise the website returns a “Page Cannot Be Found” error.
Thanks Setsuna.

Grats on the items!
Does the dog evolve along with the hero, or is it a static model each time?

I don’t think the dog’s appearance has changed at all. But my character’s hasn’t changed much either. Maybe later in the game I’ll start to see a difference.

I started to notice his color changing now. I’m nearly 100% Good according the stats, and my dog looks to be more of a golden brown color now.

Nice to know they change a little. A drastic evolution would have been really nice, but I guess it’s better than nothing.

Well, how far are you through the game Samutz? I mean this game is supposed to make your character change over the 60 hours you can play JUST story line I believe.

Well he has changed a bit over the weekend. He’s fat (too much pie I think), he’s a bit scarred on the face, he’s got 100% purity, and almost 100% good. And he now has a halo over his head, which is when I noticed my dog’s color change.
My purity rapidly rose when I bought some businesses and set the prices as low as they would go. (Setting them high raises your corruption.)
The goodness has just been a slow, gradual raise as I go through the game.
As I told someone on XBL, I have no idea how far I am through the game because I have no idea just how long it is.
I do know this,
Spoiler: I’m looking for 3 other heroes that are supposed to help me take down Lucien. I just found the 2nd one yesterday. If it ends soon after finding the 3rd one, then I’ll be pretty disappointed with the story. Because so far, it’s just too simple.

If the 4th hero isn’t the halfway point of the game, I’ll be thankful that I’m not putting any hopes into this game.

I meant the 2nd and 3rd of the 3 I’m looking for. So I only have one more to find. However, it it really is supposed to be 60 hours for just the story, then there should be lots between finding the 3rd and the end, because I’ve spent a lot of time screwing around too, such as exploring, buying businesses, trying to open demon doors, doing side quests, etc.

Story is supposedly 10-15 hours long. That 60-100 hour estimate is for the game in its entirety.

the game is about 7-8 hours long, the dog changes according to your characters allignment, and he changes after you go to the spire to get the 3rd hero.. your dog starts to look older, cause it was 10 years after all, the game was extremely short, but then again i’m used to playing morrowind, and oblivion type games,

Fable 2 has more value in its replay ability, not the longevity of the storyline itself. Say you complete the game as a Good Warrior. You end up thinking to yourself “Wonder what would happen if I played as an evil mage” Thats the beauty of the game, you can play it multiple times and almost never have the same character by the end of the game.

Yeah, my dog changed fairly well. I just reached 100% evil and my dogs jet black ith red eyes. And my 100% good Hero’s dog is like a golden retriever. But he’s dead now anyway, bummer
